SiteBridge Mobile Engagement Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

1. Program Description:

SiteBridge Research's Mobile Engagement Program allows individuals to receive text messages regarding clinical research opportunities, study awareness campaigns, eligibility screening, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, study logistics, and other research-related communications. Participation in the messaging program is voluntary. Text messages are not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency services. This messaging program is not monitored continuously and should not be used for medical emergencies or urgent health concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical assistance.

SiteBridge Research may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updates will become effective upon posting of the revised Terms on our website, unless otherwise required by law.

2. Opt-In/Out:

You opt-in to receive text messages by providing your phone number and giving your consent on our contact forms, screening questionnaires, website forms, study enrollment materials, or other authorized opt-in methods. By enrolling in the messaging program, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile telephone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number. By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from SiteBridge Research regarding clinical research opportunities, eligibility screening, appointment reminders, study-related communications, and other research engagement activities. Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not required as a condition of receiving medical care, participating in a clinical study, or purchasing any goods or services. You agree to provide a valid mobile number and to notify SiteBridge Research if your mobile number changes. SiteBridge Research is not responsible for messages sent to a reassigned or incorrect mobile number provided by you.

You may withdraw your consent to receive text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to the short code. Withdrawal of consent will not affect your ability to communicate with SiteBridge Research through other available methods. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. Support:

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at help@sitebridgeresearch.com

4. Carrier Liability:

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is not a secure form of communication. Messages sent through this program may not be encrypted and could potentially be accessed by your wireless carrier or others who have access to your mobile device. You should not send sensitive personal, medical, or health information by text message unless specifically instructed to do so.

5. Limitation of Liability and Governance Jurisdiction:

SiteBridge Research shall not be responsible for any delays, transmission failures, interruptions, or inaccuracies in text message delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SiteBridge Research disclaims liability for any damages arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon the messaging program. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

6. Message and Data Rates and Frequency:

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with SiteBridge Research, study eligibility, enrollment status, appointment schedules, and study participation activities. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

7. Privacy:

Information collected in connection with this messaging program will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Depending on the nature of your interaction with SiteBridge Research, certain information may also be subject to applicable health privacy laws.
